Whilst Osprey specialise in facade remediation and replacement of combustible materials externally, we have expanded our range of services to include Passive Fire Protection - internal compartmentation and structural steel protection - as nearly every building we open up also has these problems. These are basic Building Regulation and Fire Strategy requirements and how they are missed at the time of construction beggars’ belief. Where were the Building Control checks and why did any main contractor not perform the due diligence to be checking their subcontractors?
